Debris Removal-Phase 1
Following a federal emergency declaration for the North Complex Fire on October 16, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will take the lead on the survey, collection, and disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW) at properties affected by the North Complex Fire. The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) will transition out of Butte County, with the US EPA taking over clean up efforts beginning on November 2.
